"La música de "Louder Than Words" es de aquellas sesiones finales, nosotros tres tocando juntos en la casa flotante Astoria con los teclados idiosincrásicos de Rick recordándome ahora, que no sabes lo que tienes hasta que se ha ido. Al comienzo del álbum me preguntó Polly [Samson] para escribir las letras. Ella sintió que lo toque para ella no necesitaba palabras, que oírnos tocar era más interesante. Al final, ella escribió justo ésto, que expresa, creo que bellamente, la forma en que nosotros tres, yo, Nick y Rick tenemos algo cuando tocamos juntos, que tiene una magia que es más fuerte que las palabras ". - David Gilmour.

"Louder than Words" is a song written by David Gilmour and Polly Samson. The song, featuring lyrics written by Samson to accompany a composition by Gilmour, was originally recorded by British rock band Pink Floyd as the closing track of their fifteenth studio album, The Endless River. The track, which had its roots in the 1993 sessions for the band's previous studio album, The Division Bell, features a posthumous appearance by former keyboardist and founder member of Pink Floyd, Richard Wright, and an appearance by electronic string quartet Escala. "Louder than Words" is the only song on the album with lyrics sung by Gilmour.
